There's this one about a little boy asking some guy for money so he can buy his dying mother some new shoes. I swear it is the sappiest, most annoying song ever. I change the station every time it comes on.
I'm SO over Hall and Oates "Jingle Bell Rock." I must have come across it over 50 times.
It probably doesn't help that one station went 24/7 Christmas music on HALLOWEEN!

OMG! I absolutely hate the version of "Blue Christmas" sung by Elvis
I-I-I'll have a Blue (ahoooahoooahooo) Christmas (ahoooahoooahooo) without you
I-I-I'll be so Blue (ahoooahoooahooo) thinking (ahoooahoooahooo) about you
I think it's the backup singers that just annoy me to bits.
If I had a second chance it would be Feliz Navidad
That new awful Justin Beiber mix on the "old" Mariah Carey song - "All I Want for Christmas". It's horrible!!!
If you play "Grama got run over by a reindeer" I may puke in your eggnog.
Grandma got run over by a reindeer. I have always hated it =)
My vote is Christmas Shoes
another vote for santa baby UGH ! why does it have to be sexual for everything !
I could certainly do without 'Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer'.
Santa Baby.....I hate that song. She sounds like a floozy.
Last Christmas I gave you my Heart by George Michael...arrrgh! Do I need to explain???
I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas. Makes me want to rupture my own eardrums.
Several years ago I worked at "The Gap" and at "Pottery Barn" during Christmas time. Both places played the annoying, "Last Christmas I Gave you My Heart" song over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again...Sorry, can you tell how repetitively annoying it was? ;-)
Also sick of "Feliz Navidad." Hispanics of the world need to unite and settle on a replacement song!!
The stinkin' Red Shoes song!
Domenick The Italian Christmas Donkey.
Dumbest. Song. Ever.

And Bring a Torch Jeannette Isabella
Second Dumbest. Song. Ever.
The dogs barking "Jingle Bells" and "Silent Night" sung by anyone (like me) who can't sing! "Silent Night" can be a beautiful song IF you have the voice for it, many don't!
Feliz Navidad.....sorry :(
I am a Christmas music FREAK. This year I turned on Music Channel on Nov 1st.....love the vintage versions: Mitch Miller, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Louis Armstrong. LOVE Transiberian Orchestra!!
hating Santa Baby, we borrowed a Muppets christmas cd from teh library and PIggy sings it, and so does my 6 yo ugggg.
I loathe Transiberian Orchestra, Even more horrid in concert.
love me some felize navidad though, what's wrong with you people :)
Fun question!
siiiimpppply haaaaaaavinnnnnng................ awonderulchristmastime.
Ugh, now i love the beatles but Paul dropped the ball on this song.
All of them right now......I would like to start hearing Christmas music no earlier then December FIRST!
I try to avoid stores because all the early Christmas displays are disgusting.
Blessings....
The Dolly Parton one is a remake of "Baby its Cold Outside" with Rod Stewart. I like other versions much better.
Blue Christmas is mine..lets get rid of it!. I think there is one version I can tolerate...and I LOVE Christmas music and could listen to it year round....so thats saying ALOT!
Santa Claus is Coming to Town - the Jackson 5 version. I cannot tell you how much I loathe that version. I LOVE the traditional version, however, and sing it to my kids around this time of year...
Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer-----it not only sucks, but it puts me in a bad mood. I want my grandma back. That just rubs salt in the wound of an already stupid song.
Michael Buble's Santa Buddy. It's a play on Santa Baby and it just doesn't sound right!
LOL! I gotta say that I intentionally turn the radio channel until after Thanksgiving so that I don't mind listening to the Christmas songs. I would LOVE to hear Grandma Got Runover by a Reindeer at least once this season! In fact, I'd like to hear all the ones people are talking about here! Call me the odd one out!
Dawn
we were forced to listen to what our boss wanted last Christmas @ my temp job. I heard "you're a mean one, mr. grinch" so often, I almost started liking it. LOL
I've never liked "pa rum pa pum pum" either. Santa Baby is the worst!!!
I can't stand----- ring my bell-, grandma got run over by a reindeer, and jingle bell rock. they get stuck in my head and I wish they would go away F.! lol
M
I worked in retail for years and got kinda burned out by all holiday music. but I LOVE Santa Baby.
could do with out
Grandma got run over by a reindeer. (My very loved grandma passed between Christmas and New Years in 1969)
I detest Santa Baby. So NOT Christmas the way I think of it.
haha my husband and I always say that about the Dolly Parton song, I don't even know what it is called. She is singing and talking in it with a man. I can't even remember who he is, but I know it is annoying. It has to go.
The dogs barking Jingle Bell! =(
I've got to jump in here even though I'm late.
The version of Jingle Bells sung by Barbara Striesand. Ladies, I'm telling you, it's like Barbara herself is punching you in the face over and over and over. It's torture! Go look it up!! See if I'm right!!
Other than that, I like most of them. I'm a Christmas Crazy person. (Although, I'll agree, the Paul McCartney one bites)
I'm gonna have to agree with many others: "Santa Baby!"
Carol of the Bells makes me want to hurt someone.
And have you ever noticed it's ALWAYS playing when your shopping rate is at fever pitch? LOL
I'm evil. I love them all. :) It's the wrong season for them, though. in my family, we listen to christmas music in the summer.
Carol of the Bells was my son's FIRST favorite song. He listened to it about 50 times a day for several weeks on end. If I could only sing, I'd have that song note perfect by now! Love that song.
It has taken me YEARS to finally be able to stand Carol of the Bells. I was in high school choir for 4 years. I was in the Classical Ensemble which was the pick of the pick so we'd do shows for things like the local country club's holiday parties and stuff like that so it was never just a couple shows, it was 10 or 15 shows in the month of Dec. It was the teacher's favorite song. We opened every single holiday show with it, used it as the warm up song before our shows, a couple months before all our shows we'd begin singing it several times a period so anyone new could learn it and we could all get our practice. It was in my dreams at night. The only reason I can listen to it now is my kids want to learn the carols and they really like it so I have gotten a new enjoyment from it because my kids are learning to sing it. Without the kids I think I would still be done with it ;)
The 12 Days of Christmas. Never liked that one.
One of the worst I've heard ever, in the history of all songs of any category, is Gloria Estefan's This Christmas. Awful!!
The one with "chestnuts roasting on an open fire" so annoying. And I only like Christmas music a) while I am out doing Christmas shopping for a few minutes to get me in the mood, b) for an hour on Christmas eve and c) for an hour on Christmas morning. Oh yeah and if we go out to drive around and look at lights. For a few minutes. that's it.
12 days of Christmas
I agree with everyone on Santa Baby and Christmas Shoes. Can't stand either of those! And any Christmas song sung by the Beach Boys for some reason.
And everyone that said 12 Days of Christmas -go to youtube and find the version by Straight No Chaser. I can't stand that one either, but LOVE their version of it!
JAJAJAJAJA The very first thing I thought was "Jingle Bell Rock" jajajajaja
I agree with Mom on the Go!! That song made me cringe!! I do love his other collaborations on the CD though and my kids like it too :).
My husband is also so annoyed with JBR.
For me, its Little Drummer Boy! Hate it so much! Who would want to have a drum pounded near a newborn?
Otherwise, I can't get enough of the Christmas hymns.
Rockin Around the Christmas Tree. Ugh.
