Hi
I volunteered to help rent booths at my chlidren's school carnival in March. Do you have suggestions on what type of businesses might be interested in renting booth space?
Hi S.!!!
I work at Compass Bank in Allen and we are interested in a booth. Please call my branch manager, Shalene, at ###-###-####. Thanks and good luck!
Homebased businesses, such as Premier Designs, Homemade Gourmet, Creative Memories, ect...I am apart of a networking group which represents 6 homebased businesses. We might be interested in renting several booths. Could you send me some more information, cost, date and time of event, location...
Thanks, C. Willingham

Mom of 2 precious children adopted from Russia, living in Frisco.
I would say definitely home businesses that sells children's stuff, like Usborne Books and Discovery Toys. I'm not saying that others wouldn't be interested as well, but these immediately came to mind.
Home based businesses like: Avon, Mary Kay, Pampered Chef, Tupperware, Premire Designs Jewelry, Discovery Toys.
Also I usually see local banks, Insurance Agents, Grocery Stores, Pharmacys all like to participate in stuff like that. They can promote a little game and hand out brochures and stuff. It is a great way to reach out to the "locals" so to speak. If not, many will at least make a donation.
I make hairbows and would like to start selling them. How much are your booths and when is the carnival?
Hi S.. Any business that sells products or services geared towards children and/or families (Children's haircut places, pediatricians, pediatric dentists, children's photographers). I would suggest you pick up a Dallas Child magazine, or Collin County Kids and/or go to www.aroundtownkids.com and see who is advertising. Those will be the people you want to hit.
Good luck!

Check with bounce house rental places and maybe the Zone in McKinney. Do you already have a food pavilion or are you having restaurants rent out booths as well? They may give free samples.
I also agree about pediatricians, photographers and such. Also go around the square in McKinney, there are a lot of nook stores that might be of interest to rent a booth to get their name out..
I have assisted with 4 school carnivals and here are some of the businesses that were popular: Homemade Gourmet, Southern Living, Stampin' Up, Pampered Chef, local preschools & daycares, local businesses offering gymnastics, dance, art, music, swim lessons, local churches wanting get information out on their youth programs, the local library getting information out on their youth programs, YMCA....
I hope that this helps.
My frined sells jewelry. It is really beautiful! Where is the carnival? How much to rent?
I am an Arbonne Independant Consultant. I would like to talk to you about renting a booth.

If you are looking to attract businesses to you, you can list your carnival on Craftlister.com. It is the place that vendors go to look for local shows in which to participate. Local craft/carnival/charity shows list their upcoming events on the page. People who want to rent a booth can go to craftlister.com, enter their zipcode, and find shows in their area.
I do Once Upon a Family and might be interested in a booth if you don't already have a consultant.

Hello S.!
I agree with everyone else...primarily home-based businesses. I sell Cookie Lee Jewelry and we have little girl's jewelry, which is really cute. Of course, we have ladies jewelry as well. If you're interested, let me know.
Thanks and have a great day!
