something that is dish needed crab salad
Imitation crab 2pkgs
Mayo to taste
1 good full stock of celery
green onions (to taste)
Seasoned Pepper/Seasoned Salt
shell shaped noodles (small size, medium sized bag)
Cook the noodles, let them cool and dry
run the imitation crab thru the food processor (the blades not the shredder)
chop the celery (about the same size as the noodles)
thin slice the onions (optional really)
combine the ingredients into a bowl and add mayo as desired should be simmilar to a macaroni salad consistancy and add Seasoned Salt/Pepper to taste and really add whatever other seasonings you like to taste Lemon Pepper is good a good addition or fresh lemon juice!

For a grab and go mini pita pizzas
get pita bread if you can find the mini ones YEAH! if you can not then get the reg sized ones and use a biscuit cutter to get smaller ones.
Pizza sauce, cheese, peperoni bake @400 for 10ish min
BBQ sauce, chicken or chicken sausage, cheese bake @400 for 10ish min
Alfredo sauce, chicken/spinach cheese (parm cheese is good here) bake

if you need to use the big ones you can also "sandwich" them if they do not want to stay together. You can go as healthy or fatty as you like with the ingredients.
Quick BBQ sauce: katsup, mustard and light brown sugar in the microwave 30 sec, then stir and keep cooking until a pretty color. typically katsup 3times the amt to mustard used and brown sugar start with a cup and add as needed.
Fancier BBQ sauce: On stove top tomatoe sauce, dark brown sugar, honey, mustard, molases, reduce. You can also use bacon grease to make a rue with flower to give the smokey applewood bacon type taste but really too much work!
And the kids love to put the pizzas together if they are old enough.

My go-to appetizers are meatballs & a taco dip. I use regular frozen meatballs & allow them to simmer in a sauce made of equal parts grape jelly & chili sauce. I usually use about 2# meatballs & 12oz each for the sauce. You can even use little weiners.
For the taco dip, it 8oz each sour cream & cream cheese-mix well. Add in a packet of taco seasoning. I spread it onto a large cookie sheet-use whatever works about the same size. Top with favorite taco additions. I use diced lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, & onions.

Have fun.

stuffed mushrooms, but cream cheese and bacon inside, dip the tops in breadcrumbs.

The BEST - equal parts (by weight) gorgonzola and cream cheese. Soften and blend. You can throw in some minced garlic if you like. Put in an oven safe ramikin and bake in a 400 oven until it browns on top and is ooooey goooey. spread on some nice artisan bread.

I was going to suggest chicken salad...lol! Have you ever tried it on mini crescents or in the tiny filo cups. So yummy! When i put it in the cups i put a little mild pepper ring on top (the kind they sell in the pickle jars).
