I LOVE LOVE LOVE Youngblood Mineral make-up. It's the perfect amount of coverage without even looking like you have on make-up. And even better, it's so light you don't feel like you're wearing make-up. Good luck!
Hello Moms~
I am looking for a new base/foundation to try. Have used Estee Lauder over the years and also Bare Minerals, but would like to try something new. Just wondering what your favorite is?
*Thanks in advance for not responding with offers to sell me your products~
Thanks for the tips! I tried "Tarte" foundation first. I found it to be okay, but a little heavy at times. The people at Ulta said their favorite is "Pur Minerals", so I tried it. I really like the natural feel of it and prefer it to "Bare Minerals" because it isn't as messy. The green skin correcting primer is awesome!

covergirl true blend works great! Been using it forever. If you want more coverage, Revlon has a great powder that you can wear over your foundation or alone and it helps your skin look flawless, its called PhotoReady.
I like the covergirl true blend... even if you pick a color that isn't QUITE your shade, it still looks good. (I have a hard time matching foundation to my skin tone... lol)
Covergirl True Blend. It doesn't look like you're wearing make-up - it just looks like you have flawless skin. Love it.
Mary Kay has wonderful foundation! Mineral powder, liquid, creme to powder...whichever you prefer. It's light & made to protect your skin. I love it! Go to the website to find a consultant if you don't already have one. It comes with a 100% satisfaction guarantee!
I just started using Neutrogena Healty Skin Foundation. I really like it, it's not to heavy but also covers very nice. A little goes a long way....
Good luck! I have used several other brands and didn't like them as much
I use covergirl and find it at a local thrift market!!!! wooohooo I love bargains!
You've already tried it but my fav is Bare Minerals. I don't use it around my eyes (CG or loreal wandy coverup for the "I never sleep enough" circles), because the powder highlights fine lines... but for the rest o' me face... loooove it. It works esp well for my kind of skin, which is prone to be oily.
I'm lazy about it though... most of the time I just use the foundation. Neat trick, btw... instead of the finishing powder... just take an empty jar and add cornstarch and some of the foundation powder. Reading the ingredient list, that's all the top coat is: corn starch and pigment. $1 buck vs $20.
I've used Almay's Nearly Naked liquid foundation for years. Love it! It's very lightweight and you can't feel it at all, unlike some foundations that feel cakey. Plus, it's only like $9 and lasts quite awhile!

Hands down, my choice is Aveda. I like the regular foundation but my absolute favorite is the tinted moisturizer.
I love it!
Mac Studio Tech - great coverage, goes on easily & quickly
I have been using the wet/dry foundation from Beauticontrol for the past two years and love it for it's great coverage but very light feel.
Well my thing would be, do you really need foundation/base?
If not, then you don't need to use it.
You can just use a translucent face powder.
That is what I do.
good luck,
Susan
I love the Clinique Even Better foundation. It helps to even your skin tone, and it goes on so easy. It is about $25 i believe - but if you wait, i think Clinique will be having their fall "gift" which is usually a bag full of goodies when you spend $21.
My favorite is an Avon Product called Magix Face Perfector. It feels more like a lotion than a base. They also have a power line - Smooth Minerals.
Good luck!!
