M.B.
My morning snuggle with each of the kids. Silence. A warm cup of coffee and time to enjoy it. Decluttering the house (it's a load off!). Sleeping the whole night without one of the children waking me up! And alone time with the hubs.
For me, I think it's just some simple things:
spending time w/the kids
time spent w/family
valuable time spent w/my friends. They are godsends & keep me sane!
My dogs. They are truly a joy. And they truly love me unconditionally.
Anything that makes me laugh! :)

Today I was holding my 5 year old, he fell asleep and I held him for over an hr. and it's times like that that name me happy. I get so caught up on cleaning, laundry ect during the week that it was so nice to slow down and snuggle my little boy.
I think I'm happiest when I'm doing for or giving to others.
And when I am completely and totally living in the moment. At the moment.
My wonderful husband that has been my best friend from the start. And for giving me our beautiful outgoing, sometimes crazy son who keeps me on my toes every minute of the day! I love these two!
Knowing I have a great ability to do a lot of good for others.
Knowing my kids are happy. Loved and have big hearts.
My husband loves and handles my many states of person, like a champ:)
My circle of friends, whether they be my new family from Occupations all over, to my family here. I LOVE knowing I have so many people in my corner.
What makes me most happy is knowing at the end of the day, I am content and happy just knowing others around me are happy. I feed off other's joy and encourage them through sorrow.
I am just happy to be here. That is all that matter's.
ditto to everything everyone else said (except not the husband thing got rid of him a long time ago) but I think what makes me the happiest is the smell and warmth of a new born baby
Having my health..and those that I love and care about having theirs. Snuggling with my kids...and watching as they spread their wings a little bit more each day.... having a husband who supports and loves me...no matter what..and having an amazing best girlfriend who i can share with openly and honestly... My grandma used to say if you have one friend..in life that you can mutually share with ..agree to disagree, and will be there in a moments notice..you are luckier than most. I am very blessed...in so many ways.
i can answer all the same things everyone else says, my son, my husband, my family, my dog, and my faith :)
what i find makes me SUPER happy lately is excercising. it makes me feel GOOD. i never thought it would do that.
mostly i think what makes me happy though, is accepting and enjoying what i have, not constantly worrying about wanting what others have. i have very few "earthly" treasures. but i am one of the happiest people i know. seriously. happiness is truly within you, not something "making" you happy.
Going to Mass gives me the greatest joy. After that I would say time spent with my husband and kids.
ditto to what you said! :)
When I get 10 hours sleep! And my family of course! ;)
My family. Seriously.
Other than that, I find true joy and happiness when I sing. I am in a chamber choir, and it mellows me out, gives my mind a break from being a mama, and I think having that break every week makes me a better, happier mom and wife :-)
Knowing that my immediate and extended families are safe and happy. Getting a heart-felt thank you from either of my children for the simplest of things.
Hearing from loved-ones no matter how long or far away we are.
Knowing that while I may not be the best educated, rich, or well off person that I have a very rich and full life, for which I am beyond happy and thankful.
These are just a few.
seeing my daughter happy. the joy on her face and the excitement is priceless. silence also makes me happy. my closest friends who always listen are a blessing in my life.
