What's Your Favorite Room in Your Home & Why?

Family room, it is kind of the hub of the house. It is also open to most of the kitchen so I can cook, sit, watch TV, act like I have no children... :p

Family room first, we have a huge front window, fireplace, and the BEST couch EVER!

Kitchen 2nd, I love kicking everyone out, putting on some music, and having a drink while I cook... it's 'me time'.

Whichever room is the cleanest.

I like my kids' playroom most. It is toys, artwork, costumes - it just screams "childhood" to me. When I sit in there with them I see their little brains working and creating and dreaming. I just love sitting there and chilling out. AND it is the only room in the house that I can actually sit down and not feel compelled to clean when it is messy. children's work is play and play can be messy - LOL!

Our family room because I love the couch and having the ottoman right there to put my drink on it. My favorite way to relax is to cuddle up with a blanket, good drink (sometimes wine, tea, soda, water) and watch tv, read or play on my kindle, or nap!

My second would have to be our bathroom cuz I LOVE to take a bath!

Well I am in my kitchen/dining room prolly 80% of my awake hours having three little kids...so I must like it...lol

I love our family room

My newly finished Craft Room/Office!! At the risk of sounding completely selfish, it's the one room that is totally and completely MINE. Nobody else's stuff is all over the place, it's nice and organized and most of all...quiet!

My husband has his office, not to mention the ENTIRE garage that he's basically taken over. and in 19 short months my daughter has managed to put her stamp on every other room in the house. =)

I love my bedroom and my daughter's bedroom the most. My bedroom is so soothing and calming to me with browns, beiges and creams. My daughter's room is so pretty. Her walls are painted light green (2 walls have vertical stripes in two different shades of light green) and we decorated with pictures and wall hangings of flowers, butterflies and dragonflies. I picked out the fabric (pinks, purples and greens) for the quilt on her bed and my grandma made the quilt for her (she's working on one for my room now with browns, greens and creams). I would have absolutely loved to have had a room like my daughter's when I was a little girl.

I absolutely LOVE my kitchen. It is where I feel the most at home... The kitchen table is where we focus on one another as a family without interuptions (like the t.v., computer, video games). I love, love, love to cook so it is also the place of my hobby! :) We are currently looking to buy a new house and this time it's ALL ABOUT THE KITCHEN! ;)

Used to be my living room. It was the most comfortable and best decorated room in the house. Really reflected my style and family. Fireplace, tv, comfy couches, pictures of loved ones. It's warm and inviting.

A few months ago I purchased a new used bedroom set and now I love my bedroom most of all. It's beautiful and comfortable and all mine! It makes me happy everytime I walk in there and turn on the light. Even happier when I lay down and turn off the light.

My Office area....Which is where the dining room typically would be....we just ''poor man'' fancied it up this weekend. I rehung all my art work....Threw some stuff on on the wall to jazz it up a bit. MY house mate didnt want his glass desk anymore so we moved that in to give me a flat place to do my drawing....We even strung some Christmas lights up to give it an artsy feel:)

I am my calmest in that space. I am free. And no one can tell me what I am doing is wrong. It is me. At the most bare.

I am also a fan of being snuggled up in bed. We are doing the flannel sheet thing because it is freaking cold. So that is my second favorite place....Especially with my Z man(my youngest) next to me snuggling:)He is my cuddle bug.

My dining room. It's very casual, and its where I paint, and write. It's full of pictures, and little trinkets everywhere. It's the one room in the house that is all mine. No one bothers me in there. They are either in the family room, bathroom, kitchen, or bedrooms.

I like my kitchen. Mostly because I like to eat, lol! I love to cook and I collect cookbooks. We have an island so it is a good place for everyone to chat while we cook, clean up, drink coffee, etc. It is where everyone tends to be when we have parties, because all the food is out there. It is open to a dining area and the living room, so that is nice, too. Best of all, there is so much light in my kitchen, so it is a happy place to be.
Second best is my bathroom. I finally have a tub to relax in, and there are 2 windows so it is very bright too. I can be happy anywhere as long as the sun is shining! :)

Bedroom because my lovely bed is there and I love after a hectic day crawling in there and just taking a deep breath!

Actually, I LOVE my bedroom and would read there by choice, but hubby goes to bed well before I do many nights of the week, and that is not an option. The family room is really nice and cozy too (with the latest furniture arrangement) but I tend to stay on the computer instead of reading when I am in this room. I'd RATHER read, but this darn internet and Mamapedia site just sucks me in every time!!!

The living room. We live in an old farmhouse, and the living room has a huge fireplace! I love fire. I build a big fire almost every evening when I get home, and it heats up the whole living room and kitchen. The living room is giant, but it feels so cozy. We gather there to read (we're all big readers), play games, watch TV, or just talk. The fire makes it the best place to gather. I love it!
