unless you're extremely regular 100% of the time, one day is way too soon. give it a couple of weeks.

Didn't bother testing until I was at least a week or two late. Ignored "symptoms" because they aren't real at that point anyway, just your mind playing tricks on you.

I always tested positive at 12 days past ovulation (2 days before a "missed period"). On a typical 28 day cycle, your period wouldn't be due until Saturday. Do you know exactly when you ovulated? If not, I'd wait until Sunday to test again.

I'm currently 6.5 weeks pregnant with my 4th. I tested on Day 11 or 12 and got a negative. I then tested on Day 16 or 17 and got an immediate positive on two tests. I actually had very little symptoms which that, and no period by Day 15, tipped me off. I had slightly sore breast - just like you, only when I pressed and was hungrier and some cramping.

My third I tested positive on Day 10 or 11.

My first and second I tested the day of or the day after my missed period and got a positive.

It has been awhile since I had my last baby. I do recall getting a couple of negatives and finally a positive. Knowing me, I think I took the test before I was late, so go figure I got a negative even though I was pregnant.

Some tests are more sensitive and will give you a positive sooner. google them and find out. It has been over 5 years for me, so things may have changed :)

I always tested positive 3-5 days before my period was due when using an early detection test. My early symptoms were sore boobs and peeing every 10 minutes.
