I believe you can just go to school and register your child. I think they only have registration dates for kindergartners.
We're moving there soon and I can't find anything on the website on when Creekside Elem. will have registration. It's almost August already. Does anyone out there know? My oldest is staring kindergarten and I'm the one who's nervous! I'm really starting to feel old now....

I think they have already had registration. Just go up to the school or call to make sure. I know that one of the children that I watch was registered for kindergarten earlier in the summer at one of the suffolk schools.
Schools start registration for K right after the 4th of July But dont worry If you are moving you can register as soon as you move They wont let you do it before cause you have to have proof of adress
Registration started sometime in May, however you can register anytime now. You need birth certificate, proof of residency and a current physical or an appt card saying that a physical is scheduled. No need to be nervous- although I know how you feel our oldest is going to be in K this year too. Did you know SPS has all day K- we live in Chesapeake and they are half day.
I believe that you can take your childs birth certificate, social security card, proof of residence and a recent physical to the main office and register him at any time. My son Aaron starts kindergarden at Creekside in September also. Good luck with your move.
