Craigslist.com is the way to go.
Any baseball moms out there know where to sell a Little League bat? It was about $150 new so I don't want to sell it at a garage sale. The Play It Again Sports website sounds like they only exchange sports equipment; they don't buy it from you. Are there any other places out there that buy used sports equipment? I'm not sure how to ship something like this so I don't want to have to use something like eBay if I don't know shipping costs.

Try putting it up on craigslist with a picture, description and price see if anyone is interested. The person can get it at your house or you can arrange a place to meet them. Write that you will except cash only.
The thing with Play It Again Sports is they give you 40 percent of what they're going to sell it for. We were going to sell them a treadmill and it wasn't worth it (at least the treadmill was 40 percent of what they would sell it for). You should go to the store with the bat and ask them. We ended selling it to a friend for more than the store would have given us, but less than the store would've have sold it for.
I dont know if there's one close to you, but there's one in Goodyear on Litchfield Road right by I-10 in the same shopping area as Best Buy, in the strip mall area on the south side of the parking lot. I think they buy it from you and then turn around and sell it for a profit; I don't think it's a consignment thing, but I'm not 100 percent sure.
Good luck.
I am standing in line behind the craigslist votes. :) I have sold several things on there, and it works really well. Best of luck.
