Who Makes the Best Tasting Cakes?

I second Casa Linda Bakery in Garland... awesome buttercream frosting. I usually get a white cake with raspberry filling and buttercream frosting...so freakin good. I love to throw showers for people so I can order from there!

I am a HUGE fan of Willie Mae's in Plano. They have been in business for over 30 years and have the best cakes, cupcakes, Petit Fours, and coffee cake I have ever tasted. Market Street. I know it's a grocery chain, but theirs don't taste the same and their prices are very reasonable. I used them for my daughters 1st and 2nd birthdays. It's one of the few places where my daughter will eat both the cake and the icing. Usually she'll leave one or the other.

I'm not saying cake places aren't better. They may be. But I couldn't justify diference in cost.

My son had a camping theme this year for his birthday, & this bakery made a custom camping cake. It was so awesome! And the taste was great...great cupcakes in the store, too.

Celebrity in Frisco! and they're so adorable too. expensive, though
