See your doc for an ultrasound if you haven't. My friend also miscarried like this. She found out 5 or 6 weeks later that she had a live fraternal twin still...and now has a very healthy 2nd child.
I have 2 children 10 and 8. I miscarried for the first time ever at barely 5 weeks... 28 days ago. I bled the normal length of one of my periods. My periods have always been clockwork. I was supposed to start my period today.... but nothing yet.... no cramps, like usual, none of my usual pms symptoms. 3 days ago I started bloating. I have never bloated this much unless I was pregnant. I haven't been able to fall asleep very easily even though I feel so physically tired and I have to pee a lot more than usual. I also cry pretty easily. My breasts don't hurt as bad as when I was pregnant. But I kind of feel pregnant. I took a pregnancy test a few days ago just to see if my levels were back down. It was negative. Is this just weird bloating for my first period after the miscarriage, or could I be pregnant again? I'm sorry if this is TMI, but I could really use some advice.
I started my period on Mother's Day. The bloating is going down. I am going to go to the doctor after my period is done just to double check that I will still be able to get pergnant and stay that way. Thank you everyone for your support!!!

i had a miscarriage my first pregnancy. i found out i was pregnant again just 6 weeks later. it's possible. i'd say see your doctor. i did have one period between the miscarriage and the next pregnancy. i can't remember if it was delayed at all or not, but i do remember it was only 2 days long (which wasn't normal for me). my dr did say my body could be mixed up for a period or so after the miscarriage.
best of luck. checking in with your doctor would probably put you at ease.
Either is possible... since there are more hormones at play than just Hcg. After a miscarriage some people's systems are messed up for months, others go right back to normal.
I know... not super helpful.
I would call the doctor. Sometimes with a spontaneous miscarriage, some tissue could still be clinging to the uterine wall. This might explain the boated, sort-of-pregnant feeling your describing. I don't know how common this is, but I do know that some women require a D&C after a miscarriage because of it. If you weren't checked before, it would be a good idea to rule things out.
