Wood Floor and Painting

Putting wood upstairs will make it very LOUD -- there will not be anything to insulate - just wanted to mention that -- I ahve had some friends do that and really regret it...

Just a little warning on the wood or laminate flooring. If you have a dog over twenty or thirty pounds, don't get wood or laminate! I have talked to several floor companies and they advise against it. Nobody told us that and we got a laminate floor downstairs with our dog in the house. He weighs over 100 lbs! The floor was scratched up in no time.

We were very pleased with COKER FLOORS (Bob Frealy). They replaced our carpets with Hardwoods, tiled our master bath, and replaced kids' bedrooms with shag-style carpet.
