Does anyone know of any work at home jobs that actually are worth it? We have three little boys and need some extra income, don't know where to start. Any advice is appreciated! :)

I was just getting ready to ask the same question...Same here ... but we have 3 little girls.. Everything I find just seems like scams...and I'm not interested in all those pyramid sales things...Or hosting tons of parties to sell stuff... Seriously there has to be something out there for us! I'll keep an eye on your responses :)

I went back to the company I worked for before kids and took on a data entry simple contract with them. 4 years later they made me a part time employee and I can work from home if kids are sick, but go to the office during school hours. My job changed from data entry to basically back to my old job, and at decent hourly rate. I would look into previous jobs since the pay in your own fields will be better than anything else, and companies now love getting part time women since they do not have to pay benefits and they can let you go without any problem - which surprisingly means they held onto me during a lay off in 2008 since they knew they could let me go without any notice if they needed to, but they also needed people to do the work.

Biztant.com, odesk.com and hiremymom.com are all places where either I or people I know have found jobs.

Cautions include: finding out if the job is legit, paying your own taxes, and getting a fair price/getting paid. Depending on the job, you may be working late into the night or finding daycare for your child.

There are SO many scams out there and these types of questions bring out all the people recruiting for their own MLM and direct sales teams.

First of all, working from home is WORK. Most companies require you to have childcare. It takes self discipline and motivation.

Think outside the box. What are you good at? What do you love? Can you alter some hours to work when hubby is home watching children? A home daycare if a good option but it is tough long days.

You'll be hit up with all the beautiful things you can do from home iwth little to no investment but if you want to make any money you will be working. The extra money just does not appear. Even those working with MLM and direct sales that are successful work very hard at it.

Arbonne is a great work from home business. There are so many Mom's in Arbonne. You can choose when and how much you work and work around your boys schedules. Like any other business you have to believe in what you do. I will send you a private message with my contact info.

I looked at many, many things before I found the right fit for me. If anyone wants to pick my brain about what to look for and some signs of it being a scam, please feel free. I learned a lot in the past 7 years looking for something from home.
I would be more than happy to help out.
