Have you tried the Biggest Loser dvd's? There is a scuplt one and a cardio one. Both have three levels and warmup/cool down. I use them 3-4 times/week and think they are great!
Looking for an beginners aerobic work out dvd.Although I work out regularly (treadmill/elliptical) I'd like to mix things up w/ a little variety.I need something easy to follow- I get lost w/ too many combinations etc.I used to work out at Curves regularly but dropped my membership- too much of a hassle to get there w/out bringing my child.Thanks.
Thanks for all the great suggestions!I bought 3 Leslie Sansone dvds at Job lot today for $2.99 each and will try the first one tonight.I love Leslie Sansone! Her workout is a nice change from the treadmill and elliptical.I love to take long walks so her style really suits me.Thanks to all for suggestions.

Check out Collage Video (www.collagevideo.com, I think). Their tagline is "take the guesswork out of exercise video shopping." They're a great resource. I've bought a bunch of videos through them, and if you don't like a video you buy, you can return it within 30 days.
I like the Leslie Sansone walk away the pounds very easy and she has a 1,2 or 3 mile. T.
I had bought Leslie Sansone's walk away the pounds. I liked it because it was easy steps and you could go at your own pace, and no work out was longer than 5 minues. I could easily fit 5 minutes into my schedule. I was able to lose weight as well. I had bought a special pack that included 2 dvds and a stretchy band that helps with toning in your arms.
If you have digital cable from comcast they have a ton in the exercise section of on demand and they are free.
I've lost more than 40 pounds working out with home DVDs. I also gave up on the gym due to the expense. It is so nice to workout at home on my own time and not worry about what I am wearing or who is watching. I had the best success with workout systems like Turbo Jam and now I'm doing P90X (not for beginners). I like that these map out workouts and diets for a period of 6-10 weeks. Slim-in-6 is a great one for beginners or to add to other cardio workouts. I provide fitness coaching for these products as well. Feel free to PM me if you are interested.
For those that you can get at Target or that type of store, I like some of The Biggest Loser workouts and those from Jillian Michaels as well. If you have Comcast, there are great workout choices On Demand too.
Best of luck!

I second the Walk Away the Pounds!
I used to use Kathy Smith VHSs and she's just great. Very smart and telling you what muscles to be thinking about or why she's combining things this way or that. The moves are easy to follow. I don't know if she has anything new, but I'd recommend the upper- and lower-body workouts and the fat-burning workout (can't remember the name but it's 6 2 minute high-intensity things separated by 2 minute "active cooldown" sessions, so maybe you can find it knowing that). The box was yellow.
Have fun!
I love the Biggest Loser workout video. I have the old one and I highly recommend it!
I recommend any of The Biggest Loser workout DVD's. They offer a variety of workouts for different fitness levels. It's a great workout.
I like Denise Austin. Her work outs are diverse and have helped to keep me in shape for years. They are all under &10. The one I picked up recently is 12 minute workouts for Mon-Fri and yoga for the weekend. I like to do the yoga stretches after the workouts when I have the time.

I am bias of course, because he is my husband, but he offers DVDs at a reasonable price ($9.99)...easy to follow workouts, but most importantly, very effective!
Good luck!

I don't know much about videos myself because, like you, it's usually the treadmill. However, years ago I did Jenny Craig. The company had a series of aerobics videos that came with signing up for their program. First, I don't know if they still do that--it has been about 13 years since I was on it. BUT, you may be able to google info about it/ebay/amazon/whatever similar search engine. If memory serves, there were 3 videos in all--simple to follow and one included some light resistant weights, too.
Another series that I enjoyed in the past--again, nothing to complicated, was Billy Blanks' videos. Basically, cardio kick-boxing. I had fun and it was easy to follow.
I think variety is helpful, I went on Amazon and found some good DVDs that way. I use a combination of Yoga (early morning workouts), regular aerobics (30, 45, or 60 min workouts), and Tae Bo by Billy Blanks for major A-kicking workout. There are all different levels, so I would recommend trying one of each if it sound interesting to you.
