Okay so yesterday when I made quick run to the grocery I saw they had those marinated pork tenderloins on sale. (i got two for what it normally costs for one). I put them in the freezer since I already had meal plans for the next couple of days. The one's I got are the mesquite bbq ones. know which one's i'm talking about? Okay, so here is my question. Have you ever put them in the crockpot frozen with a little bbq? did you thaw them first and then cook them? what are your favorite ways to cook them? i'm thinking of throwning them in tomorrow, maybe tomorrow night so they will be ready for lunch on monday. help help help please!!

What can I do next?

Sounds like a GREAT idea...except it's a waste of good meat.

Pork tenderloin is very tender, good meat. It's not crockpot meat. It will practically disintegrate in the crockpot.

Instead, roast it in the oven. If you want crock pot meat, get a pork picnic roast, it's cheaper and will shred like you would like.

I wrap tenderloins in foil and put on a baking sheet and into the oven. Keeps them moist and tender. You can slice onions and carrots, and dice potatoes. Layer them in the bottom of the foil, plact the pork on top and then wrap up tight. The juices will cook inot the veggies and make your side dish for you. Sometimes I just slice a couple onions and when I take it out of the oven and slice it, I make a quick pan gravy of the juices. Pour the gravy over the sliced loin, then pile the onions on top.

I bought a couple of these last week too, buy one get one free sale. I ended up just following the directions on the package and roasted some potatoes and green beans at the same time. Just make sure to thaw it first. It came out good, easy meal!

We grill our pork tenderloins and they turn out scrumptious.
You can put them in the oven, but we like them grilled.

I personally wouldn't put frozen meat in a crockpot and I wouldn't put a tenderloin in either. Ever. But that's just me.
My vietnamese aunt often slices them and fries them in her wok. They come out so tender.
You got a good deal on tenderloins. I wouldn't crockpot them. They don't take that long to cook other ways.

Just my opinion.

Crockpots work better for fatter cuts of meat, a tenderlion does not have enough fat to keep from drying out. I have gone from freezer to crock pot before for things like pork butt or pot roast, but you are better off in the oven for the loin.

We just throw ours in the oven. I have never done it frozen though. I like to make bbq pork sanwiches from tenderloins. Mmmmm now i'm hungry! =)

The cp will ruin them. Dry and mushy. They bake or boils very quickly, though.

I would thaw it, put a slice into the side of it and place sliced onion and apples in the slit(I also put in blue cheese) and wrap it in foil and put it in the oven. I probably would look for sales on the cheap cuts of pork and put that in the freezer for crockpotting meals as they usually need the time. Tenderloins however if left too long to cook will become unpleasing in texture and moist qualities.

Yes, you can do this. You could also just cook it tomorrow.

I personally do not add the BBQ sauce until the last hour or 45 min of cooking.
Throw in a sliced whole onion into the bottom of the crockpot, shred 2 large carrots, add about 1/4 cup water, then place the pork on top of the veggies and cook all day. 1 hour before you serve you can shred the pork and pour on the sauce and stir.
