Young Toddler Playgroup

I have a 19 month old son and I am looking for a playgroup for young toddlers in Macomb County. We have done storytime at the Clinton-Macomb Library and are currently enrolled in a Parent-Toddler class (that will be ending this week) through St. Clair Shores Adult Ed.
Not only would I like my son to be exposed to other toddlers, I'd also like the opportunity to chat with other toddler moms.
I actually teach a Parent-Toddler class in Troy but my son is not quite old enough to be enrolled in it (he would have had to turn 2 by Dec. 1st).
Any input would be greatly appreciated!

We have a play group that meets once a week at Bethany Baptist Church in Clinton Twp. (15 & Beaconsfield-1 block East of Groesbeck). We alternate Tuesdays and Thursdays--this week is Thursday. We meet at 11:30 a.m. and have our sack lunches (or drive-thru) and then the kids play in the gym with the play room toys. It's a community play group that's open to everybody and the kids range from birth to around 4. My email is ____@____.com if you'd like to be added to the list.

The library at 24/Romeo Plank has a baby playtime for ages 0-24 months on Monday. It goes from 10-11am. (I'm not sure if this is the program you are already aware of) There is a program called "Come Play with Me" and that is through UCS. I'm sure they have a class which starts at 18 months. The Macomb County Library on hall has a Tot Time program for kids 18-30 months on Thursdays. This session is about to end on March 13, but the next one starts April 3. You do need to register at ###-###-####. I'd also try the sterling heights public library and see what they offer.
You could also go to "meetup.com" and type in your zip code. It will allow you to see different groups in your area. I know that there is a "Macomb Moms" group (which I'm in) that would be fun for both your child and you.
