Zit-like Bumps on My Chest. Blegh.

For the last couple years I have noticed these little R. bumps on my chest. Not actually on my breasts, just the area in between. (I am not very well endowed, so unfortunately there is a decent amount of space for them. :P) They look just like pimples, but they aren't. They do not pop, after trying to do so with the first few I just started leaving them alone, and they just go away on their own after 3-4 weeks. Sometimes instead of going away the turn into a scar. So now I have 5-6 little round scars. I have noticed that I get a LOT more now after having given birth. It used to be that maybe one every other month or so... but now it's almost constant! I have 3 of them right now, and it's annoying the heck outta me! I have tried making sure to wash the area more often, but that doesn't make any difference. Does anyone else have to deal with this? what do you do to get rid of it?

What can I do next?

Could it be folliculitis (sp?). See a dermatologist and they can tell you for sure and they may be able to tell you how to prevent them.

I have one too. I also thought it was pimple but is not, mine have be there for over a year, it doesn't grow or anything is like a scar, weird.
Unfortunately I can't tell you what to do but I can tell you what NOT to do, lol.
I try to squeeze it but since is not a pimple it only got R. and it hurt, then I though freeze it, don't try that either, it doesn't work. Then I try to pinch it because I thought it was just blood stuck in there, well, maybe that it is whatit is but I was to chicken to do that so I just leave it alone since mine is small and didn't bother much.
My best advice is to go and check with your dermatologist, my best bet is that is just blood some how trap in there but your doctor will now what to do and how to treat it.

Why don't you see your doctor about this? is it possible that it is some form of acne? but if it bothers you and what you are doing is not working, I would go see a doctor/dermatologist.

are you stressed out because it sounds like it could possibly be a rash caused by stress, sweat or possibly shingles

Another possibility is a zinc deficiency.

Look up Dariers disease, it could be that. Also, if you put cologne in your cleavage or even a scented lotion you might be having a reaction to that. Keep the area dry with corn starch based powder, that might help.

That sounds like folliculitis to me. My dermitologist prescribed a topical antibiotic for me. It helped but not as much as we'd hoped. I was doing a bit of reading on the internet about the condition and someone mentioned that dandruff shampoo could help. I tried that and it worked quickly and was certianly less expensive than the Rx.
