As a first time mother, looking for childcare was the scariest thing to do. I was given a list of names in the area and "A Mother's Touch" was one of them. When I call to do a phone interview, Doris could sence my apprhensiveness and was patient with me. She even gave me a few questions that I should be aksing that I had never thought about. When we took our baby girl over to interview with her in person. Doris was so personal, she got down on the floor and interacted with our daughter while we talked. I thought that was great, I was able to see how my daughter was responding to her and I felt at ease. Needless to say Doris started watching our little girl when she was 6 weeks old until she turned aprox 18 months. The decision to leave was the hardest thing to do, the decision was made so that our daughter could learn more social skills in a large group environment. I can remember picking my daughter up, she would cry because she wanted to stay and not go home, she loved it there. Four years later, there was no question who we would take our second daughter to. My daughters are now 12 and 8 and they still remember the loving care Doris gave them. I would highly recommend "A Mother's Touch" to anyone without hesitation.
I have had my child here for almost 2yrs-since 8 wks old - and it is just like leaving her with family! I highly recommend A Mother's Touch!
Doris is very caring and experienced with different ages of children. She offers a warm home environment with small ratios for parents looking for individual attention and learning opportunities for their children. We highly recommend her.
