I am a Az Licensed Midwife practicing in the greater Phoenix area since 1984. I attend home births and offer well woman care. I especially enjoy working with women who want to own their birth experience. Birth changes us and our families in community. Take this opportunity to be empowered!
When my husband and I found out that we were expecting our first child we knew we wanted to welcome our baby into the world in the comfort of our own home. We were even more confident in our decision to have a homebirth after meeting with Pam. Upon meeting Pam, we knew that we had found someone who was knowledgeable, experienced and nurturing. She is the most wonderful blend of everything that you would want in a care provider. She spent the time needed to answer all our questions. She was very thorough in her examinations and got to know us personally as she delved into learning about our desires for our homebirth experience. Throughout the entire process, from our first meeting with Pam, to the most intense moments of labor, we felt at ease knowing that we had Pam there to guide us.
My labor went from one day, into the night and well into the following day. Pam was with us at our home from the time she got the call until the delivery of our beautiful baby boy. She monitored myself and the baby routinely, provided encouragement and directives when needed, and gave my husband and I space to experience the process together. Her years of experience meant she had a wide variety of tools and techniques to help me get through each and every hurdle during my labor. Although there were tough moments, there was never a time that I felt that “I couldn’t do it” and part of that was knowing that I had Pam there with me.
My husband and I highly recommend Pam and suggest that anyone even considering the possibility of a homebirth meet with her. We know you will be amazed with the level of care she provides. My husband and I both work in health care as physicians, and we think that Pam is above and beyond in her clinical skills, knowledge and bedside manner. If we were expecting again, we already know who our midwife would be, without a second thought.
Pam is the absolute best midwife. She is the reason I was able to make it through my daughters birth at home. I can not imagine doing it any other way. She is very thorough and professional but yet I feel as though I made a friend for life.
Wow! Such a different experience then at the hospital and I even had a midwife at the hospital! Can't even compare them really. Pam is an awesome midwife. I would recommend her to anyone!
I had 4 children at the hospital, and I thought that was just the way you "did it." Then my husband tried to talk me into home birth. I was nervous, but for his sanity, I decided it would be okay. My first birth with Pam was in a birthing pool, my mother-in-law thought I was so relaxed when she got to our home, that she and "Dad" decided to go eat and come back - they missed the birth! The baby came 5 minutes after they left! It was the most wonderful experience! Pam is so fantastic! She is very on the ball with testing, and checking to make sure that everything goes smoothly. Then, during the birth she is as involved as we want her to be. My husband and I were able to call all the shots. We have since had 2 more children with her. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to truly experience being in charge of their own birth, yet have the confidence in a professional with over 20 years of beautiful births under her belt!
Pam delivered my second baby after my first was born at the hospital. The difference in the two births was amazing. Pam's professionalism and experience were obvious in the visits leading up to the birth and her support in the moment was wonderful. My husband especially felt much more confident with Pam than he did in the hospital birth. A big switch for a guy who didn't want home birth with the first!
We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed having Pam at our daughter's birth. I would DEFINITELY do it again!
I am a doula and I met Pam at the birth of one of my clients. She is the best midwife I have experienced ever. She is confident that birth is a natural happening and her experience is gold.

Pam is awesome! She has delivered 3 of my babies. She is so supportive and caring. She made my birth experiences so special. I looked forward to my monthly appointments to visit with her and ask her any questions. She was so helpful and readily available when I needed her!She is wonderful at well-woman care too! I highly recommend Pam!
Pam was my midwife for 2 of my babies home births. She was gentle, non-intrusive, knowledgable, and I felt completly empowered and trusting of her and the birth process. I highly recommend her as a midwife and well woman care.

I'm sure you will find one common thread among all the reviews for Pam... You love her like a family member! I have three children, two of them Pam delivered. After the first delivery I ventured out to find a different Midwife. All Midwives are not created the same! Thank the Lord He led me to Pam. Both of my births with Her were remarkable. I had a water birth that was flawless and another "on the floor, just get it out of me!". Pam was like an Angel quietly comforting me through it all. Her disposition is always calm and loving. With Pam comes two blessings... Your sweet newborn and a friend for life!
Pam is the most amazing midwife. My DH and I interviwed 5 midwives and after meeting her we just knew she was the one. She delivered my first daughter and now that we are pregnant with our second, we will be using her services again. She is more than a midwife to us, she is now a good friend and someone I completely trust with my well-being and that of my children. A must-interview midwife. She is just fantastic.
