Jewel & Stoneman is a women-owned and operated estate planning law firm, and it has been a solid presence in the Bay Area since 1996. We help parents name guardians for their children, set up Wills and Trusts and plan for disability and death. We maintain an informal, yet professional environment that puts people at ease. We recognize that if our clients aren’t comfortable, they are not going to receive the best support possible.
Because we are small, we can take the time to get to know our clients and provide individual, personalized service. Meanwhile, our state-of-the-art tools and drafting systems ensure our ability to provide world-class legal assistance quickly and efficiently.
Jewel & Stoneman prides itself on educating clients, building strong relationships with clients, and being there for clients no matter what the need. We want people to be educated so they can make informed decisions about what they want to do with their lives. We would rather spend the time making sure a potential client understands their options, even if they choose to go elsewhere. Our highest priority is affording people the peace of mind that comes with making an informed decision.
I finally did my trust with Heather Stoneman a few years ago. After giving birth to a baby-girl in 2008, we needed to make some adjustments to it.
In both instances, Heather was wonderful to work with. She's very knowledgeable and professional, and visits with her are not rushed.
She asks some important questions and will then set up another appointment to go through the documents she prepared based on the information given. And she will explain everything to you step-by-step to make sure you understand every page of your trust or will.
Last, but not least, Heather has a very pleasant personality, is easy to work with, and she really cares about her clients.
