Hi my name is Kay Blanks, and I'm the author of "Heart to Heart Forever," and soon to be in print, "Illiana," and in the works, "Dangerously Compulsive." My books are listed with Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Borders; Publisherpage.com, but can be ordered directly from my website, kayblanks.com ~

I'm a born and bred, proud Texas native. My stories are about Texas women, and 'Texas animated talking rv's in a children's series.'

"Heart to Heart Forever," is in the process of an audio creation, and will be available very soon on my website and others. Purrrfect for the times when you don't, or won't have time to take a few minutes to read! It is so great to be able to slip on the headphones, then listen- as you do housework, drive to work, roadtrip, plane trip, exercise, or walking...the list goes on and on! Multi-tasking has never been so easy, and you are not left out in the hole of the, "Life Loop."

Housework will never be, or mean the same again...imagine doing the dishes, while istening to a romance novel...how cool is that?
Who knows...maybe it could even improve an already great marriage!?
As, a rule, listening to a good romance book can put us in a romancy sort of mind!

When you have the opportunity, sieze the moment, put your feet up and enjoy one of my books that all of us, "girly girls," can relate to!!

This mature wisdom comes from a mother of three, grandmother of six, and my delightful, first great grandson, Lil Dandy Andy, who is now 7 weeks old.

For the children; I am thrilled to introduce them to my stars, the unique rv characters that are featured in, "Adventures of the Shade Tree Gang, Series." (My kiddy books)

They all meet one day while having service in the Shade Tree Garage. They become friends, and like to help one another.
I draw a small map to show the children how the characters travel from Texas to all directions in the USA.
The first book of the children series is titled:
1)The Shade Tree Gang Meet
2)Homey Travels to Hollywood
3)Mini Goes to Miami
4)Scout and Buddy Tour the South
5)Snooty Travels the High Sierra's
6)The Shade Tree Gang Reunion

I originally sketched the characters, then had my artist draw them in graphic style!

These books will proudly be presented to the DISD, and other ISD's across the nation. They will be bilinguel, English, and Spanish, (in the same book.)

Your children and you, will fall in love with the characters, "Homey, Snooty, Buddy, Scout, Mini, Tootie, Peachie and Hot Rod, as they entertain you all over America!
