I started doing Child Care in my Eagan home in July 2006 after my daughter Lilli was born in April.
Before becoming pregnant I taught preschool at Hope Preschool in South Minneapolis with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Once we found out we were expecting we put our town house up for sale and started looking for a home where I could do Day Care. It was important for me to stay home with Lilli and I also wanted the opportunity to offer a loving and safe home environment for other children while their parents worked.
We found our home right here in Eagan on just about a half acer. It has a great big back yard and I am able to care for the children on the main level of my home. It is important to make my home feel like the children's home and let them be a part of it as much as they can. The trickiest part of my day is getting the girls to leave, for some reason they want to stay and can't get enough.
3 years later I am still enjoying every day with 8 beautiful girls. Thats right, I said eight girls and some day maybe boys will enter our world. I currently have 2 openings.
