My son had a very difficult time breastfeeding for the first 8 weeks of his life. No one but Sharon, (including the pediatrician, the lactation consultant in the hospital, or the pediatrician's in-house lactation consultant) was able to correctly diagnose his condition - short frenulum, tongue-tied. I wish we had seen her sooner! She was so kind and very professional. She spotted the trouble immediately. And the encouragement she gave me meant so much - how I needed that support! I highly recommend Sharon to anyone having problems breastfeeding.

I used Sharon for as my lactation consultant for the birth of my 1st and 2nd child. I found her to be knowledgeable and provided for my physical needs. My complaint is in her delivery and tone. I never felt she was on my team and really cared about my emotional well-being. If you are a touchy-feely Mom, I would suggest another choice.

Sharon was my lactation consultant following the birth of my fourth child. Without her help, I would have had a much more difficult experience, as my baby had a high palate and could not sustain a good latch. Sharon was kind, offered helpful and common sense techniques. As a result, my baby and I nursed happily for a long time. I highly recommend Sharon as she is highly experienced, but relates one on one to mothers.
