Nice place!

Dana was fantastic and inspired a great deal of confidence that we would be able to finally win our months-long battle with head lice. Had I known about her, I'd have contacted her much, much sooner. It's been a little over a week and my daughter and I are still nit-free!.

My daughter was sent home from school along with 8 of her class mates a little over a week ago because of lice outbreak in her class. So when we got home I inspected and found nothing but I treated her anyway assuming I didn't know what I was looking for. Well then yesterday I get another call from the school that she still has nits to come get her. I get her home, look again and nothing again just dandruff. I was thinking I must be losing my mind and I probably pulled up every site about lice on the web. I ran across The Nit Fairy site and figured I'll have someone who knows exactly what to look for check her out. I called and Dana checked her the next day strand by strand. Thankfully I was not losing my mind she did not have lice or nits only dandruff. This has been one of the most frustrating experiences so thank god for Dana for putting my mind at ease! As I found out later the other children's mothers didn't find lice either. I am giving her information to the school so this doesn't happen again so hopefully they use it but if they don't and I get a call again...I know who I'm calling! Thank you Dana!!

I am so glad I found Dana! I tried the RID kit and wasn't able to properly remove the nits. Dana was very informative, very thorough and removed the nits. I was finally able to sleep well that night. She also removed the nits from my son. Dana is excellent with children. I highly recommend her services .

My daughter came home with nits last week. Having never had any kind of experience with lice before, I did the best I could with Net Rinse, RID, and reading online at Headlice.Org. She was in the clear as of Friday but returned Monday with more nits! I did a margarine tx, took lots of peoples' well intentioned advice, and by Tuesday, when another nit was found, I was in crisis mode. I had no one to check my own hair, with a military husband away, and I had no idea what I was going to do next. Thankfully, the school nurse mentioned someone in Tampa, and I found the Nit Fairy, by a Google Search. Dana was very experienced, gave me the facts, debunked the myths, and remedied the problem my daughter had. While I was told I had nits too, it was actually dandruff... Dana taught me how to look for the difference. I learned that if you haven't been trained in lice removal, no matter how well you read lice kit instructions, and comb, rinse, and repeat, there are still going to be nits without an expert involved. Thank goodness the Nit Fairy offers this service to Tampa residents!

This is money well spent. I have friends who have spent months trying to rid their homes with lice. Dana treated my granddaughter, checked the heads of the entire family & educated me on how to work on prevention. I left confident that we had solved the issue. I am thrilled with the results.

Dana is fantastic and provides a fantastic service to the area. My children had lice, after applying the poisonous Rid, I spent 6 hours pulling nits out of their hair. I was seeing double and everytime I looked in their hair, there were more nits. Understandably, my children could not go back to school until all the nits were gone. Someone told me about the nit fairy, we headed out right away and they were back in school the next morning. It was worth every penny and saved me hours of stress!

The Nit Fairy finished our nit problem in less than an hour. I contacted The nit Fairy and she made a time available very soon for us. The Nit Fairy knows what she is doing. She checked me and my daughter (5 yr old) with curly long hair. My daughter sat there watching a video during her nit removal session, the nit fairy was gentle and thorough. In less than one hour she was finished. We got educated about tips to do for preventing as much as possible a lice invasion of the head, special comb and organic products. S We had a follow up appointment. Don't waist your time trying to do things in your own, exposing your child to dangerous shampoos with strong chemicals and sprays, numerous hours sitting down to remove nits on your own. Oh My Gosh! Dana truly is amazing! After several dollars spent and numerous treatments to eradicate these pesky creatures from my youngest daughter's head, we (finally) went to the Nit Fairy. I only wish I had known sooner .... Dana was knowledgable about removal and prevention; professional in her work. My daughter has thick, long hair resulting in a tedious process for removal. Dana was both thorough and gentle. We are finally nit free, completely!!! I would highly recommend her services. She is the best!

AMAZING!!! Having lice is up there with getting your
teeth pulled!! The Nit Fairy responded to my Email on
a Saturday morning in an hour and a half and we were seeing her with in an hour. Rarely do you get such immediate attention. More importantly with her knowledgeable advice we were lice free the FIRST visit. The Nit Fairy is the real deal!!!

Calling the Nit Fairy was the best decision I made regarding my daughters fight with lice. After trying to tackle it on my own for a week, I learned of the Nit Fairy and the amazing service she provides. Not only did she rid my daughter from a head full of NITS, she educated me on what to look for and how to remove them. She left me with the greatest NIT comb to continue to check my daughter's head and gave me great advice on some pesticide free products to use. And came back a week later to follow up! We have been NIT free ever since! Dana offers a great service and I would recommend her to anyone.

Dana is really great. She cleared my head and I have long curly hair! She also was terrific with my three year old. Initially I took her to Head lice 911 and she screamed and cried the whole time. Dana was wonderful with her and my daughter actually ran up to her and gave her a hug. I just can't say enough good things about her.

I found out my son had lice on a Thursday night. I called Dana Friday a.m. and she was over by noon. She was wonderful and we are so happy we got her name from our pediatrician. Fabulous! I called as soon as I discovered them on my daughter's head and Dana was there that same day. She spent 3 hours working on my 3 year-old and was very patient with her despite her difficulty with staying still for so long. She had lots of babies but Dana got them all! Subsequent check showed no lice. Thank you Dana!!

Also Important to note that she checks the entire family and cleans heads with no harsh chemicals. She also took the time to educate me on prevention.

This lady is a super hero! My daughter was sent home with lice and I spent days trying to pick everything out and damaged her hair with over the counter chemicals. I heard about The Nit Fairy and called. She came out the very next day and picked the remaining nits out of my daughters hair, checked all of us for lice, and I haven't had a problem since!

I have been dealing with lice for several months. I think I've gotten rid of it, then here they are again. The Nit Fairy came to my home in the evening, went through my daughter's hair very thoroughly then checked mine. I would not have the patients! It was great that she came at a time concenient for me. Being a single mom it is hard to find services willing to work with my schedule. I really appreciat that.

I used the Nit Fairy right after finding lice for the first time on my two girls at the end of the school year. After having cleaning of hair, clothing, house and everything in or around my girls for a week and a half, crying and losing sleep and weight..I searched for a lice treatment service online and found the Nit Fairy, but really should be called the NIT ANGEL. She came to my rescue and in a matter of two hours, my life was back! She came back to recheck and my life was back to normal with clean heads. She also took the time to educate us on how to prevent and handle lice. She is amazing and I thank GOD for this service. I really don't know what I would have done without her.

Dana, the nit fairy, was a complete life-saver to me. My 13 yr old daughter got head lice at the end of 7th grade, and i didnt' know what to do! Dana will come to your house any day, any time. She does not believe in the use of harsh chemicals or poisons. She removes every lice and all eggs from your child's head in one treatment which is important in preventing re-infestation. She checks the entire family, and returns a week later for a follow-up check. While you may think her hourly rate is high, you will soon change your mind if you factor in the cost of repeated RID kits, time lost from work, etc. She is worth every penny!! Ten other girls at my daughter's school were infested, and many of them used The Nit Fairy. I happen to know that those who didn't experienced a re-infestation. I highly recommend her!!! Dana was at my house within 30 minutes of my call to her.She also sells products that help hinder re-occurence of head lice.

The Nit Fairy came but I agree she should be called the Angel Fairy!! Dana is absolutely so wonderful to talk to. Like everyone else, I wispered when I first called her...having or even suspecting Lice can be somewhat embarrassing. Dana is amazing. It is VERY evident that she does this job because she is interested in making a difference...NOT a financial killing. After spending literally hundreds of dollars over the years fighting these critters I have found this angel. She is friendly, knowledgable and quite inexpensive if you consider what she offers you...piece of mind and the ability to get your kids to school and yourself to work...all within a few short hours! I have had to drive to South Florida in the past for this service. Now all I had to do was pick up the phone and she was at my HOUSE within 24hrs. I am thrilled with the results and plan on recommending it to the local schools and daycare centers. The name should be Nit ANGEL not Fairy. As a nurse and a mother I highly recommend her.

"Goddess" doesn't begin to describe Dana Ferlita - aka the Nit Fairy.I spent over $100.00 on drugstore treatments, combs, etc AND over 40 hours washing and combing, only to have my daughter rejected day after day by the school nurse due to nits in her beautiful, LONG hair. In just four hours, Dana treated and combed both my child and me(my hair is also long and thick). My daughter is is now back in school - after missing an entire week.
