A wonderful friend blessed me with a set of waistbeads in 2005 and my life has not been the same since....

Waist beads originate from Africa, and as there are so many different countries and cultures in Africa, there are so many different meanings and purposes of waist beads. Some cultures give them to young girls to help them form a good shape. In some cultures, women wear them to entice the men. In some cultures, women wear many of them along the torso so that they won't eat too much and will keep their figure.

My purposes for wanting women to wear my waist beads are to increase their consciousness and to increase confidence. Waist beads increase your consciousness because you are always aware of your size. You can't gain 5 pounds without feeling it first in your waistbeads. You will think twice about having that second helping of food. When you lose 5 pounds, you know automatically by the way your waist beads fit you! (and that is a GREAT feeling!!). You will feel so motivated by your beads fitting looser, you will try to get them to fit looser and looser! Or, if you just want to maintain your current size, your beads will motivate you to stay on track!
Waist beads help you to increase your confidence too! You will feel different when you look at yourself naked in the mirror. Sexier, feminine, powerful. You wear them for yourself and for whoever else you want to see them. They are your sexy secret, kind of like wearing lingerie underneath your clothes....
