How to Celebrate Adoption?
My cousin and her husband have been trying to have a baby for over 6 years and about a year ago they started the adoption process. They were selected by birth parents in an open adoption and the child was born this morning. Assuming everything goes as planned, they will have the baby home in a couple days. I am so very happy for them! I plan to travel (about a 7 hour trip) to meet the baby in January, at which time I'll bring a gift. In the meantime, is there something special I can do for the new family? Any ideas on finding a meal...
