Staying Home with 5 Year Old

Hey everyone. I am a SAHM of a 5 year old little boy who is in pre k this year. I have two step kids, but they are not with us much. I have chosen to continue to stay at home instead of going out and getting a job now that my son is in school. In the area where I live most people do not understand that because most moms work outside of the home, and I don't know anyone else who stays at home once their children are all in school. Homework in Kindergarten

i have a 6 year old in kindergarten (her birthday is in november) i have been apalled at the amount of homework expected from these children. i don't really believe in homework even at an older level, as we don't bring our work home.
