2 Yr Old Prescribed Miralax for 4 Weeks for Severe Constipation

My 2 year old is VERY constipated. A little background: He was constipated even at 3 weeks old and didn't poop for 8 days at one point. He had colic as a newborn until about 3.5 months, and from then on he was often very constipated, except for all of the times he had diarrhea from antibiotics. Whenever he is on an antibiotic, I've always followed it with Lactinex [a probiotic] and plenty of yogurt. Up until last month, the 5 months before that were better. Need Advice on Constipation for 18 Month Old

My son has just turned 18 months and is on day 2 of not having a bowl movement. I've tried apple juice and got nothing. I've been trying to get him to eat more fruit such a pears, etc but that doesn't seem to be helping. He just recently got off the bottle so he just isn't drinking as much fluids and I keep his sippy cut out at all times for him to get. Any ideas of what else I might be able to do? HELP 19 Month Old Daughter Extremely Constipated!!!

My 19 month old daughter has been extremely constipated lately. I still breast feed her and have had no issues with this in the past. I noticed it started since she began her new daycare. The new provider gives them cows milk because of state regulations, but I told her I want to start her on organic milk instead. Can you all give me some medications I can use to help loosen her bowels? Also what foods should I implement more into her diet. I noticed apple sauce really helps her, but she gets tired of that.
