Having Problems with Potty Training My Almost 3 1/2 Yo Little Man

Looking for help with potty training. Dad is currently in Germany with that National Guard and I'm trying my best to potty train my little man before Dad gets home. I'm not having much luck. I work fulltime, so Grandma has been helping during the day. We have him in pullups all day (diaper at night only). Potty Training Time

So I realize it's time to really start with the potty training of my son. I think he's ready...but I am wondering if any of you wonderful moms out there who have already mastered this milestone can offer any advice on books that I should read in order to start out on the right foot. Store Brand Diapers

I have tried Meijer's Whisper soft diapers size 5, I didn't like them...The tabs pulled off, and the stuffing kept coming out the top. Has anyone tried any other store brand Size 5 diapers...ex:target, Walmart. How did you like them, are the tabs strechy?
