Suggestions on Crafts for Kids 2-12

I want some suggestions on some economical fun kid's crafts. It needs to something that we could do on some tables/picnic tables outside. This is for a family reunion and we will be at a campground. I thought of pet rocks or rocks where the crayons melt on them and then it becomes a paper weight or piece of art, but I would love some more ideas as we might end up doing more than one.
