Plantar Fascitis Help!

I really need help with anyone who's ever had plantar fascitis. I've been battling this for almost a year now and some times feel crippled with the pain. I've tried the rolling the foot a ball, anti-inflamatories, biofreeze, Dr. Scholl orthotics. I'm now ready for the heavy hitters. I've heard people say they've used prescription orthotics, boots for bed, accupuncture. What worked for you and did you have to resort to the expensive stuff or not? Trying to save money wherever I can. I do have insurance but have not met my deductible...

Just Turned 1 and Won't Wear Walking Shoes

Hello everyone, My daughter has been walking with assistance for the last month or so. She is recently taking a few steps, very cautiously. I've read that the best way to learn how to walk is barefoot or very soft soled shoes. I've used the target equivalent of the Bobux shoes if she needs the warmth. My sister in law is a firm believer in "walking shoes" from Stride Rite, so she bought her a pair for her birthday. My daughter cried/screamed the whole time she had them on her feet at the store. Also her toes pointed in quite a bit,...

Quality Walking Shoes

Hello folks - I recently have started walking regularly for exercise and it's time for me to upgrade to a quality walking shoe. Any suggestions? I am looking for good quality at a reasonable price. I am willing to pay a little more for something that is durable and good to my feet and knees. I will mostly be walking on sidewalks, and occassionally on gravel. Recommendations? Thanks!

My Daughter Is on Her 4Th Pair of Shoes This Year

So my oldest is in kindergarten this year and she is going through shoes like crazy I started the year when a fairly inexpensive pair of shoes and they were trashed by October. The next pair cost a little more and again those trashed by mid-January. Before purchasing the nextpair I looked around and thinking that "you get what you pay for" went higher in price. Third pair cost double the amount of the first pair and I noticed that there was a hole in the toe this morning. She is obviously very rough on tennis shoes. She is definitely...
