Too Much Princess?

My parents watch my 2 year old two days a week and are great with her. They have more than just a occasional grandparent role in her life and have a big influence on her. No offense to anyone, but my husband and I don't like princess and all things girly for her. She certainly wears pink and has dolls, but we also expose her to Curious George, Elmo, sports etc. We just don't love princess as a role model. Sleepover Movie for 9 Year Olds

Hey All, That about says it all! We're pondering the option of a sleepover b'day party with pizza and a movie for our soon-to-be-nine-year-old daughter. What would be good? I'm so ancient, I'm trying to remember the old 80s movies we watched like Pretty in Pink and Ghostbusters and Grease and Clueless, but really I can't remember if they are even appropriate or interesting for this age!
