First Road Trip with Twins

Hello, we will be talking our first long distance road trip to visit both sets of grandparents this Thanksgiving. Neither set of grandparents have any infant/toddler equipment and I am unsure what to pack for the trip. Also, the girls each sleep in their own crib so what should I do about bedding at the grandparents houses? Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

This past weekend we change my 18 month old son’s crib into a toddler bed. I thought that he would be ok with it but, he isn’t taking to it well. We have a rail to keep him from falling out while asleep, but when we lie him down he will not go to sleep like he did in the crib. Now he tries to climb over the rail and ends up falling to the floor. But if we take the rail off I am afraid that he will fall out of the bed because he is an active sleeper (and he already did fall out). If I sit with him and make him lie down he thinks it’s a...
