Need Advice on Infant Constipation
My 2 month old son has had a problem with bowel movements for 3 weeks now. At first the dr. said to give him an enema, so we did that a few times but heard they can come dependent on that so called the dr again and she said two tsp of Karo with 2 oz. of water, but that made his tummy really upset. Now she told me to put 2 tsp. of mineral oil with 4 oz. of formula when I supplement which is twice a day. I think this sounds pretty harsh for someone his age. Has anyone else heard anything about mineral oil? Or have any other suggestions??
