Must Toddler Shoes Be StrideRite?
My 14-month-old son has been walking for about 6 weeks now. He walks really well barefoot and in his StrideRite velcro sandals. The StrideRite people tell me that newly walking toddlers need to wear their brand shoes for the support and flexibility. Is this true? Are there other brands (less expensive) that are good, also? I want what's best for my son's development, but would like to be thrifty at the same time since he will outgrow shoes so rapidly. He wears a 4.5 wide. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
