Chicken Pox and Medication

Hi! Today my daughter broke out with what we believe to be the chicken pox. We are all fine with it and consider it part of growing up. I brought her to the dr this evening, just to make sure I wasn't misdiagnosing. He believes they are chicken pox, and wants to put her on a medication to help minimize the effects. From the little research I have done, the recommendations for the meds are more for older people, or people with weakened immune systems. She is a healthy little 5 year old. Causes of Diarrhea

My son just turned one this month. He's awesome, walking and chatting away. However, we are going on 4 days of diarrhea. My poor kid. It started Saturday and shows no signs of letting up. I called his Ped. but since he does not have a fever, is not vomiting, and still has an appatite they said there is really nothing they can do it just has to run it coarse. I don't know what's causing it. Maybe he picked up a bacteria, maybe he's got some back teeth coming in, I dont' know. I've got him on a very bland diet and keeping him hydrated...

Severe Ezema & Croupe Cough

Hello! My son has severe ezema, and croupe caugh he has had both since he was a few days old. He was diagnosed with the ezema at 8 days old, we have moved to a cooler city, since the heat really bothers him. Everytime he breaks out, he gets the croupe a few days later. I refuse to dress him head to toe, since he then breaks out more, and screams so he is always, most of the time, in shorts and a tee. Rash from Head to Toe

My 4 year old son has a rash literally from head to toe..Doctor can not see him till 9am tomorrow it's really bad on his face. I am very concerned his temp is 101, he is very tired, and has not eaten for 5 days. Now very minimal yesterday all day he ate 1 pizza roll but is drinking not the usual but little. He also was seen two days ago for being sick and we were told let it run it's course..Any help! thanks

So ladies, what OTC eczema lotions/creams/moisturizers have worked well for day-to-day maintenance/prevention of mild eczema in children? Severe Diaper Rash

Hi, all... I need some help here. My 21 mo son has had severe diaper rash off and on for weeks now. The past 2 days are the worst ever (with diarrhea). Balmex is not working anymore. Yesterday, I found some left over Rx cream.... it worked wonderfully, but it's empty now. What else can I do? Anyone else have some left over Rx cream? Virus with Pimple or Hive S on Face

My son has had a virus sore throat, congestion and fever for three days. He broke out in zit or hives on his face. How can I treat them? I put baby aveeno lotion on his face because they just looked like dry spots at first. We made him wash his face after the dry spot s turned in to sores or zits. They have dryed up now but, really hurt?
