I have a almost 4 month old daughter who has only slept in her swing since birth. I am trying to get her to sleep in her crib and it seems to be almost impossible. My husband and I take turns trying to calm her down and this seems to last for hours and finally my nerves are shot and she goes back in her swing, within minutes she is sleeping sound. What else can I do to get her to sleep in her crib at night?

I am a first time mom and since the day he was born I have rocked my little one to sleep. He is a good baby and it rarely takes more than 10-15 minutes to rock him and put him in his crib, total. But my husband and I are at the point that we think it is time for him to soothe himself. Any advice on what to do now to help him go to sleep on his on. Hi everyone, I have a 9 month old daughter who will only sleep thru the night maybe 2 or 3 nights of the week. I have triied things from giving her a bath to feeding her right before bed. When she wakes in the middle of the night sometimes I can't get her back to sleep without another bottle. The dr at her appt yesterday says i need to stop giving her a bottle when she wakes.
