Seeking Advice Regarding Febrile Seizure

Hello, just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience w/ their child. My older son-5, had his first seizure the day after Christmas. Turns out he had a double ear infection along with a fever. The hospital told us it was very commen and just a febrile seizure. Has to do w/ the rapid increase of fever in a short time. Then they let us go. I was extremely frustrated. Then our pediatrician said it was more uncommen to have this type of seizure this late in age-usually having the first years earlier. So he suggested an EEG. Well...

Blood in Stool?? Help!!

My daughter is almost four months old. At her two month appointment she had the rotovirus vaccine. On that day she started to have diarreaha and it has continued since. After a couple of weeks they tested her stool and found blood, and they said "milk protein allergy." I tried to eliminate all dairy and soy and they gave me neutramigin as a suppliment. It didn't stop, so we had her allergy tested. The blood tests came back ALL negative. The blood and diarreaha have continued so we went to a GI and she said to stop breastfeeding and use...

Asthma with Every Cold!?!?!

everytime my 19month old gets a cold it turns into asthma. he needs a nebulizer and a steroid to help him. i cant get any answers as to why this is happening. they wanted to put him on a daily steroid that he inhales to prevent this but the word steroid along with long term side effects i did not like and i stopped the steriod (told the dr.) does anyone elses child get like this and if so what are they on? thank you.
