Switching Daughter to Solid Food and off of Bottles

My daughter will be a year old on Monday and I'm trying to get her used to solid food. She will eat just about anything off of our plates for as long as you will feed her. However, if I put her in the highchair and feed her solid peas, then she gets tired of eating them before she is full and then she chows down her baby food. 8 Month Old Wont Eat Baby Food

My son is 8 1/2 months old and he has 2 teeth on the bottom. He wont eat baby food he hates it!!! And he likes table food but really the only thing he wants is his bottle. I put cereal in it to give him some food but i dont know how to make him eat more. The doctor said he has diet issues but i can't get him to eat anything. Feeding Your Baby with Your Finger?

Dear Mamas, My husband fed our son rice cereal from his finger because he is not digging the spoon. In fact, he won't eat from the spoon. (My LO is exclusively breastfed.) First, I think this is very unsanitary; second, it doesn't give him the choice of whether or not he wants to or is ready to eat solids. Transitioning from Nuby Sippy Cup to Hard Spout

My son(11.5 months) has used a Nuby sippy cup since he was 6 months old to drink water and juice. He holds them well and loves to drink from them.
