Cloth Diapers: Any Recommendations or Warnings? I'm Thinking of Experimenting

I am finally considering cloth diapers. We are hoping for 4 kids, so it seems like a decent investment. #1 is starting to have success on the potty, yet sporadically; #2 is 14 mo.; and #3 is due in April. Kids #1 & #2 could easily both wear size 3 or 4, so i was thinking of just buying one size to experiment with, but they are so expensive that I didn't want to mess up. Cribs, Car Seats, Bob Revolution, Nordic Cab? Ugggg.

Anyone have a car seat, baby jogger, stroller, crib, glass baby bottles, co-sleeper....any product for a new baby.... that they love? I am overwhelmed by the choices. We are looking for excellent quality and as non toxic, as possible. I understand many of the paints, glues are not good for the baby! Organic is great! I was looking at the Bob Revolution baby jogger, and some kind of car seat that would fit into that for the first several months of use. Also, Nordic Cab's Sport Combo jogger. LL Bean shows both. Thanks so much!

Changing to Cloth Diapers: Any Advice?

I am slowly switching to cloth diapers to save some $$ while also being kinder to the landfill. I'm wondering how to do the diaper pail, and whether wet or dry works better? Also, wondering what detergent is best for regular prefolds? Vinegar? I'm trying a fuzzibun as well for nighttime, and may add more if we like them. My son has really chubby thighs, and has been fighting diaper rash consistently with the paper diapers. I would love to know what other mom's did with diaper covers/fit/how many to buy. Any advice on brands...
