My daughter is 14 months old. She is also picky about vegetables as finger foods. The only way I can get her to eat them is to hide them in foods like spaghetti or anything with a sauce where she won't taste them, but sometimes that doesn't even work and she will just start gagging. Just don't give up, keep offering these foods or he will never eat them. It took my daughter 2 months to drink milk but I never stopped offering it and now if I give her a cup she drinks the whole thing, no problem.
As far as what she eats throughout the day it varies. Today she had a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast (adult portion) and a cup of milk. Her morning snack was a few teddy grahams ( I break them up in small pieces) and applesauce. She hasn't had lunch yet because she is napping but I plan on giving her a grilled cheese and tomato sandwich and a cup of juice ( 1/2 juice 1/2 water) afternoon snack will be peaches or oranges. Dinner spaghetti with vegetables mixed in with a cup of milk. Cheerios and yogurt before bed if she still seems hungry which she usually is.
