I can't remember everything they took:

q-tips
cotton balls
hot wheels
straws
toothpicks
Legos
marbles

We did them in counts of ten so he didn't take 100 of the same thing.

My daughter collected 100 pencils in our house and brought them to school. Didn't even make a dent in the various sundry collections of writing implements around here.

since I have 4 kids we have had 4 100 days lol. we did the following

lego's
stickers
dum dum suckers
straws
(straws were the easiest as they came in a box of 100 lol) I still made him pull them out and count them to be sure but so easy ) (dum dums were the favorite as he passed them out later for his birthday treat)

i've gone the cheap route and done cut up paper numbered to 100 so my kids could count with me. also at the dollar tree (don't know if you have one near you) they have stickers that kids can color. i got 2 packs of those and then let the teachers distribute them to the class afterwards.

last year we did 100 star stickers and this year the kids are making "Gorp" (I think that's what the teacher called it) and they each need to bring 100 of some kind of food. He is taking 100 mini marshmellows.

Get a plain t-shirt and have her glue 100 misc items to it and then wear it to school.

My son's 1st grade class did this:
1. each student had to bring in 100 small objects (all the same, like beans or popcorn or paper clips). The teacher had some kind of math activities planned with the objects
2. They made 100 day necklaces out of 100 fruit loops.
3. They got 100th day stickers to wear, glasses that say "100" where you peer through the zeros, and 100th day of school crowns.
4. They stamped 100 stamps in groups of 10...counting by 10s to 100
5. They had other classroom activities too, but I don't know what they were, sorry!
