Hello moms! My daughter's 2nd birthday is approaching at the end of this month, and I just wanted to see if any of you had any ideas to make it a special one. Any ideas from food/snacks, favors, games, or anything that would make a great memory.

my little girl will be 2 in april. she loves dora so i think i'm gonna do a dora themed party. since it's fairly warm for her b-day, we had a pot luck cook and every body brought a dish. I made goodie bags for the kids and put mixed candie, noise makers, and pencils in them.
My daughter just turned 2. She loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse so her theme was that. We have so many who come to the party so what we do is order pizzas. Something easy. I can email you some pictures if you like from the party. Her first birthday we did JoJo circus. We buy almost everything online. We go to birthdayexpress.com to order our stuff. We plan in advance because our families live out of state. i amsure whatever you chose to do it will turn out to be a great day. Just remember this is for your child not for you. Whatever you think will make her happy it will. Now again since we did Mickey Mouse we were able to get Mickey to call her on the phone and it went over very well. Well good luck in whatever you do and if you like to see some pics let me know.

I invited my 2 best girlfriends who have kids close in age to my son who just turned 2 in September. Before the party my husband and I made tie-dye shirts for the 3 kids out of the kit you can buy at Walmart and a package of Hanes 2T undershirts. Also, we bought each kids a die-cast car from CARS. At the party they worn their matching shirts and played together with their new cars. I made a train cake and had cars plates with cookies and candy too. After the grandparents went home we had beer and pizza. We bathed the 3 kids together and sent them home in their p.j.'s. We just enjoyed visiting with our friends and pigging out. No special theme needed at this age.
My daughter is turning two on the 23rd of this month so I've been planning for a couple weeks. I went to birthdayexpress.com and was going to order the "princess" theme. It's pink plates with like a crown on it. It was very cute, but we're pressed for time so we went to our local party shop and picked up the Strawberry Shortcake theme. Her favorite doll is strawberry short cake. So what we are doing is instead of having a large cake, we're going to do a small one with strawberry swirls and icing.. then we're going to offer to make strawberry short cakes. I'm going to let the kids mash there own strawberrys and top their icecream with red sprinkles and candies. Then for other activities we're going to either go out side in our fenced in yard if its not a snow storm and play games like toss the strawberry or just let them run around on our play equipment. If it's to cold we're going to stay in and put on her favorite movie and let the kids make hats (we bout blank ones at walmart for like .50) and let them decorate them. Or they can just go run in her play room and have fun. She's turning two, and I want it to be her favorite things so playing with toys and outside is about all she ever wants to do. We are also just ordering pizza (her favorite food) and having chips and maybe a cheese or veggie tray. Thats a whole lot of jumble, but maybe you can draw an idea or two out of it.
