I can't remember the current name of the place but it used to be Family Fun Center. There was/is? one kinda across from Parkway Plaza in EC. Miniature golf, video arcade, children's rides etc...
My dtr. will be 4 in Feb.; she is a princess fan and last year we did the whole astro jump princess theme party. I asked her if she would like to do again, or go to a pizza type place with games, ect. I have been to Chuckie Cheese, Shakeys and Peter Piper Pizza. Is there any other suggestions out there? More unique? Thanks for your responses. PS-Preferably in the East County, i.e., Rancho San Diego, La Mesa, El Cajon.

You could do the boardwalk off of Fletcher Parkway in El Cajon. They have a peter piper type of thing but better with mini coasters and jumpy house and fun gym also arcade games, etc or the bowling alley side.
Also, Play town is great! It's a kid safe environment with a jumpy house and other fun toys. They are on Jackman STreet in El Cajon
My daughter is a big Princess fan (she turned 5 in Aug)as well. Two suggestions.......In the Santee Town Center (next to Target) a place called Bears, Buddies, and Toys (or something like that). It's a great shop, and they have different birthday parties for girls and boys. We ended up having my daughter's bd party at this place called Playtown next to Education corner on the corner on Jackman and Marshall, in El CAjon. Since we had both boys and girls, and ages ranging from 2-11, it was important that everyone be kept busy. I was dissappointed. We brought in our own food, and they helped clean up and even take our stuff to the car. It was only a 2 hour time frame, so we felt a bit hurried, but other than that it worked out well.
Good luck :)- L., mom of 2 kids
I just found that Java Mama (in La Mesa) hosts birthday parties. You can look on their website:javamama.com. Good Luck.
You could try Boomers on Graves Ave in El Cajon.
