Can anyone give me an idea of how to get lip stick out of carpet... It is hot pink (ya know the kids make up) I am affraid of getting it wet and not knowing what might happen... Oh I really don't want to have to replace the carpet in their bedroom.
Resolve carpet cleaner does wonders. YOu can just spray the spots, let it sit for a few minutes, then with a hard bristle brush rub in circles until it comes out then vaccumm. I have gotten just about everything out of my tan carpet with this stuff. It is in a spray bottle and looks like foam when you spray it.
Goo Gone that stuf takes every thing off!! My daughter spilled house paint on are hard wood floors and I was so scared because i did not want to strip them. I used this stuff and off it came with out hurting my floor. Just last week my freinds daughter colored the bathroom with red lip stick on the walls and off it came with goo gone. Also a freind of mine who works at a local restraunt they use this at there place of business!
I was told when it's still fresh you're supposed to use a white cloth and press on the stain to transfer it to the cloth, do this several times until the stain is gone. I've never tried it. In the past I've used 409 carpet cleaner that usually seems to work. Good Luck.
