the only thing the doctor is going to bring on is a big ol' BM, because that's what you've got going on. and what you're trying to sell us.
no thanks.

Having lots of symptoms- lots of gas and cramps and hard stomach. Dr says that if I don't get period in a few weeks he will give me medication to bring it on. He doesn't think I am pregnant but I do. Any advise
Let me clarify, I am 46 years old and the date of my last period was 8 weeks ago. I am worried because I feel pregnant.

If you have a negative blood test, and nothing on the ultrasound, then you're not 8 weeks pregnant. Could you be in menopause or perimenopause?
How do so many have so much time off from school?????? You are pregnant with a potentially big poop. Try eating a veggie or two and get off the computer to take a walk. That should get things moving. Lastly, don't name it or share pictures with your friends because its not a baby.
Soooo.. humor me...how did you determine you were 8 weeks pregnant with a negative blood test and your ultrasound showing nothing?
You aren't pregnant, but pregnancy isn't the only thing that can cause your symptoms. You need to go to a gastroenterologist. Don't wait - get an appointment. There could be something serious going on.
It bothers me on several levels that your post says "8 weeks pregnant..." You decided that you were pregnant, despite being told by your doctor that you aren't. You're ignoring blood test results and an empty uterus. That's troubling. And by continuing to think you're pregnant, you aren't getting help for what really is wrong.
Those are symptoms of constipation, not pregnancy. Sorry.
If the blood test says 'not pregnant' - then you're not pregnant.
"Gas and cramps and hard stomach" sounds more like IBS or some gastrointestinal problem.
Lot's of things besides pregnancy can mess with your cycle.
Missed periods can be a hormonal imbalance.
There's such a thing as hysterical pregnancy.

Additional:
46 is not too soon for peri menopause.
Your doctor told you you're not pregnant, and you don't believe him/her?
Interesting strategy.
I'm not sure I understand what you mean.
Gas, cramps and hard stomach can be signs of gastrointestinal distress. My kids get that with their lactose intolerance for example.
I'm sure your doctor is the best one to advise.
Oh A., I am sorry you are going through this. Are you hoping you are pregnant? I'm sorry but I don't think you are. I think you might be starting Menopause.
If you are trying to get pregnant then your doc will have some medications that will possibly help you do that but for now I think you're probably not pregnant.
It's pretty simple, you go to the doctor, they give you a test and it's either positive or negative, there is no "guessing" involved. If the doctor says you are not pregnant then you aren't. Good luck.
Are you due December 25th?
If the test was negative and there was nothing on the ultrasound then I am sorry to say you are more then likely not pregnant, or if you were the embryo was not viable. IF you need the extra comfort before taking the meds have them double check, but at your age it is not unusual to miss periods from time to time or become less regular. Keep talking with your doctor to figure out what is going on if your period does not come.
If you are pregnant, it sounds like you are not 8 weeks pregnant. By 8 weeks I was able to see my baby's heart beating on ultrasound. I also had a positive home pregnancy test the first day of my missed period. I'm sorry and best of luck!
I'm sorry to say that if your blood test is negative and your womb is empty, you are NOT pregnant.
You could be constipated or have stomach issues. In addition, at 46, chances are you are entering into perimenopause or menopause. I'm surprised your OB didn't mention that or maybe he/she did and you don't want to listen to him/her.
You need to talk with your doctor and have additional blood work done. Check your thyroid because you aren't pregnant.
how about the beginnings of irregular periods or menopause and a G.I. issue? You're at the age where hormones can start going wacky and you can start getting irregular priors and star menopause. I'm paling my bets on that. You're a bit old for a pregnancy. Menopause can cause pregnancy like symptoms.
ETA: If you were truly pregnant, your belly would be soft and squishy, not hard.
