We are looking for ideas for a group of 20 students. They have been earning money for 8 years and are continuing to do fundraisers. The school district has put an $800 cap on what each student can spend for the trip & any other small field trips the year. We are looking at around 5 days. Ideally something that involves being outdoors & "bonding". Any feedback would be great. Thanks!

the 8th grade at my sons school last year did a bike ride to san francisco with stops along the way to do community service. one of the local bike shops gave them a fantastic deal on bikes and one of the dads is a uberbiker so it was well planned. they started from applegate, which is about 25 minutes by car from where you are in orangevale.

Hi S., our 8th graders go to Washington DC. We have only $400 per kid and 3 days, plus it's only about a 6-7 hour drive from here, but the trip is a huge success every year.
