A Thanksgiving Meal, Kid Style, School Rules

My kindergartener's class is having a potluck thanksgiving party next week. We are asked to bring something that is kid friendly (the kids will like it and will eat it), but that is store bought and ready to serve. No place to warm it up. It can't be a frozen dish that we cook at home and bring either.
I can't think of anything beyond apple pie, pumpkin pie and muffins which were already signed up for by other parents. I'm hoping you creative moms can help.
TIA

What about oranges that are cut in wedges? One mom did that for my 5th grade class and it was a huge hit!

Raisins? Grapes?

Drinks?

What about bagels with pumpkin cream cheese? My daughter loves pumpkin cream cheese!! They have mini bagels too, I know they aren't particularly "thanksgiving-y" but the pumpkin is!! ;)

I liked the ideas given by Debi though, rolls and jams are great, so are veggie trays. I'm sure most grocery stores have a deli of hot items too and maybe you could find a mashed potato or corn dish, it will stay warm enough from the store to the classroom I'm sure.

dinner rolls and maybe some different spreads for them? we are in love with trader joe's creamed honey right now, but you could do that, butter (of course!), maybe a jam or pumpkin butter or something.

my preschooler loves sugar snap peas, snow peas, carrot sticks (all ready to eat in the bag).

individual cups of applesauce/cinnamon applesauce?

A small meat and cheese or cheese and cracker platter? Fruit tray?

My daughter's Pre-K class made a list of what they wanted and then had parents sign up for those specific things. They didn't have quite the restrictions as we are allowed to make/cook the dishes.

Here are a few finger foods that we used in my class:
Make your own sandwich bar with lunch meats, bread, mayo and mustard, olives, veggie sticks and dip, rolls, and cranberry sauce. Hopefully this proves helpful.

hi s-

I guess I would consider, with these constraints, deli cole slaw or macaroni salad...

maybe a veggie or cheese platter?

A fruit platter?

This is tough!

Best luck!

Turkey roll ups. Deli Turkey rolled up by itself with a toothpick. Or rolled up with a slice of cheese, or even riolled in a tortilla to be really fancy. Or plain black olives, my pre-schooler looooves olives.

You cannot bring something that is not in a sealed from the store package. It is against almost every school policy now. I would think anything from the bakery area, the snack area, or even the deli if it is sealed properly, like popcorn chicken or something.

Our "feast" next week will include corn bread (which I am bringing), Craisins, pumpkin bread, apple sauce, and apple juice/cider. Maybe something like that or fresh veggies like baby carrots or green beans?
