Are there any playground or parents groups for adoptive families in the Eagan/Apple Valley/Rosemount area -- or South of the River --- or St. Paul?

We're part of an adoptive playgroup in Eden Prairie, so probably too far for you. But have you posted on the Children's Home Society Forum? It seems like there are a lot of eastern metro people on the forums there. The website is www.childrenshomeadopt.org
I am the adoptive mom of 2 kids but I don't attend any groups. Shepherd of the Valley church in Apple Valley has a group that meets together monthly or quarterly, I believe.
Sorry, I've has this repsonse up for a few days and it keeps getting missed! I don't know of any play groups, but I will ask around. I know a few adopted families. If you have time, I think Prince of Peace Mops group that meets Thursday AM still has some spots open in childcare. There is one mom that has 2 adopted boys, and another with one girl.
Hi, We have 2 adotped children and we attend a St. Paul ECFE Wed. evenings. It is the only ECFE of its kind in the Twin Cities. We went there last year and loved it! We also belong to Melting Pot Moms which is a group I found online at meetup.com It is also a great group!
