Adult Crochet Sandals

I can't wear the all plastic flip flops either, they hurt between my toes, but if i can find the ones with a thin leather or a fabric thingy between the toes, they are not nearly as uncomfortable as those rubber/plastic ones.

I have been crocheting baby flip flops lately, and though the pattern is just the front typical straps, I have been adding a single strap around the back of the foot with elastic cricheted into it, and a button on the side to tighten or loosen it.

This is a great idea - I love it! Thanks for sharing. I wear flip-flops all summer and love them except the noise they make. Crocheting could be the answer!

There are many styles and pictures, I think it would be best to make a "cover" of sorts for the plastic parts but I am not sure really not my bag of tricks.

Just curious, but have you ever tried a good pair of flip flops? I used to buy cheap flip flops for the beach etc, and I hated them. I assumed I hated flip flops, until I was given a pair of good flip flops. Now I wear flip flops all summer long, just not plastic ones.
